1. Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with the tri2max app is tri2max.
You can contact the controller at support@tri2max.app or through the support details listed on the Contact page.
2. Data We Process
- Connection data. We currently understand that the app reads the user's IP address in order to infer a suitable language or regional language setting.
- App account and profile data. We collect the user's email address for account creation and account access. We do not currently use social login.
- Training data. If a user connects Garmin, we collect training and activity data made available through the Garmin API.
- Usage, analytics, and crash data. We do not currently use separate third-party analytics SDKs or third-party crash reporting tools.
- Support communications. We process information that users send to us when they contact support by email.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- We use IP-based connection data to determine an appropriate language or regional language variant for the app. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the service in a usable language configuration.
- We process account email addresses and Garmin-connected training data in order to provide the core functionality of the app. The legal basis is the performance of the service requested by the user.
- We process support requests to answer inquiries, resolve problems, and maintain the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and, where applicable, the performance of the service relationship.
- We may retain limited records where necessary to comply with legal obligations. The legal basis is compliance with applicable law.
4. Service Providers and Recipients
tri2max operates and hosts its core infrastructure itself. If a user connects Garmin, Garmin acts as an external integration source for the training data made available through the Garmin API.
- Hosting and backend operations: operated directly by tri2max
- Authentication: operated directly by tri2max
- Training data integration: Garmin API, when the user chooses to connect Garmin
- Analytics and crash reporting: no separate third-party provider currently in use
- Customer support: handled directly via email by tri2max
5. International Transfers
Our core app systems are hosted in the EU. If data is processed outside the EU in the future, we will rely on an appropriate legal transfer mechanism, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful basis.
6. Retention and Deletion
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, to provide the service, to resolve disputes, or to comply with legal obligations.
- IP-based language inference data: processed transiently only and not stored.
- Account data, Garmin-related training data, and support emails: retained for as long as the account remains active, unless earlier deletion is requested or legal obligations require longer retention.
- Account deletion workflow: deletion can be requested in-app and via email at support@tri2max.app.
7. Your Rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability of your data, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@tri2max.app.
8. Children and Minimum Age
The tri2max app is not intended for children under the age of 3.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. The version published on this page is the current version.
